Dax Stringer

My name is Dax Stringer, and I’ve been creating art since I was very young. As an autistic artist, my passion truly took shape around age six or seven after being introduced to Japanese anime like Pokémon and Digimon. I was captivated by the characters, movement, and vibrant colours, and that fascination has continued to grow ever since.

Over the years, I’ve developed my skills through practice, mentorship, and creative exploration, learning to bring the images from my imagination to life. I especially enjoy drawing dragons, animals, superheroes, anime characters, and figures from mythology, folklore, and prehistory.

My work extends beyond illustration into graphic, product, and book design. In 2016, I made the decision to turn my art into a business, eventually leading to the creation of Stringer’s Illusionary Art. I began selling prints and commissions, and later expanded into markets and larger audiences.

During the challenges of 2020, I adapted by creating colouring books, which became a major success and opened new opportunities, including attending Comic Con. Today, I continue to create colouring books, stickers, bookmarks, and prints, sharing my art with a growing audience.
